UNIVIEW BULLET 2MP 2.8MM 40M W/L IP67 AUDIO Bullet Camera
The UNIVIEW BULLET 2MP 2.8MM 40M W/L IP67 AUDIO is a bullet-style CCTV camera for outdoor surveillance. It combines a 2 megapixel image sensor, a 2.8 mm lens, a 40 metre W/L range, an IP67 housing and built-in audio. It is intended for fixed monitoring of entrances, grounds, car parks and other areas where a visible camera is an important part of the security plan.
Key features
- 2 megapixel (2MP) video resolution for clear everyday recording
- 2.8 mm fixed lens for a wide field of view at a fixed angle
- 40 metre W/L range for recording in low light
- IP67 rating, protecting the housing against dust and temporary immersion in water
- Built-in audio for capturing sound with the video
- Bullet-style body for straightforward wall or bracket mounting and aiming
Image and lighting
A 2 megapixel sensor produces sharp images suitable for identifying people and vehicles at typical residential and commercial distances when the camera is correctly positioned. The fixed 2.8 mm lens keeps the view wide and constant, which avoids the need for focus or zoom adjustment after installation. The 40 metre W/L figure describes the camera’s night-time reach, allowing the scene to be recorded when natural light is limited.
Weatherproofing and durability
The IP67 rating means the camera is sealed against dust and can withstand short periods under water. This makes it appropriate for exposed positions such as walls under eaves, gateposts and yard areas, where rain, humidity and dust are normal conditions. Check the mounting position so that the lens and cable entries are protected from direct water runoff.
Audio
The integrated audio function records sound from the camera’s location. This can help when reviewing an incident, for example to hear voices or activity near an entrance. Make sure the recording and audio rules you use comply with local privacy requirements before enabling sound capture.
Typical uses
- Monitoring driveways, gates and building entrances
- Covering car parks, loading bays and yards
- Perimeter and outdoor security for homes and small businesses
- Adding audio-enabled coverage to an existing Uniview CCTV system
Installation tips
Mount the camera at a height and angle that shows faces and number plates clearly, avoiding direct sunlight or strong light sources in the lens. Route cables through the weatherproof entries and seal joints well. Planning the position before fixing the bracket will help you get the best view and the most useful recordings.
This camera is a practical choice for anyone building or extending an outdoor video surveillance system and wanting a visible, weather-resistant unit with night recording and sound capture.
