Uniview IPC2124SB-ADF40KMC-I1 4MP Bullet IP Camera with 40m IR and 4mm Lens

Uniview 4MP Bullet Camera with 40m Infrared Night Vision

The Uniview IPC2124SB-ADF40KMC-I1 is a 4-megapixel bullet camera designed for monitoring outdoor areas and building perimeters. Its bullet-shaped housing is built for fixed mounting on walls, eaves or poles, where it can keep a clear view of entrances, car parks, yards and other open spaces.

With 4MP resolution, the camera captures sharp images that make it easier to recognise people, vehicles and details across a scene. The 4 mm fixed lens gives a set field of view, so the camera can be aimed at a specific area and left in place without any zoom or focus adjustment.

Infrared illumination provides night vision with a range of up to 40 metres. This allows the camera to keep recording in darkness, when many standard cameras would show only a dark image. It is well suited to round-the-clock surveillance of driveways, gates, loading bays and similar locations.

The camera is part of Uniview’s bullet range and works within a standard IP network, so it can be added to an existing recording or monitoring setup. It is a practical choice for businesses, schools, warehouses, farms and homes that need dependable outdoor video coverage.

Uniview IPC2124SB-ADF40KMC-I1 4MP Bullet IP Camera with 40m IR and 4mm Lens

The Uniview IPC2124SB-ADF40KMC-I1 is a 4MP bullet camera for outdoor video surveillance. It combines a 4-megapixel image sensor, a 4 mm fixed lens and infrared illumination with a range of 40 metres. The camera is intended for permanent installation where a clear, continuous view of a specific area is required, day and night.

Key features

  • 4MP (megapixel) resolution for detailed images
  • Bullet-style housing for outdoor mounting
  • 4 mm fixed lens with a set field of view
  • Infrared night vision with a range of up to 40 metres
  • Designed to connect to an IP network and recording system
  • Uniview model reference IPC2124SB-ADF40KMC-I1

Image quality

Four megapixels provide considerably more detail than standard low-resolution cameras. This matters when footage needs to show faces, number plates or small objects at a distance. A fixed 4 mm lens gives a wide view suited to covering a yard, a car park or the front of a building, while keeping the camera simple to install because no manual zoom or focus is needed.

Night vision

The built-in infrared illumination lets the camera record in low light or complete darkness. Its stated range of 40 metres covers a useful area in front of the lens. Infrared images are shown in black and white, which is normal for this type of camera, and the scene remains visible when there is no artificial light nearby.

Installation and mounting

Bullet cameras are normally mounted on a wall, bracket or pole and angled towards the area to be watched. Position the camera so that the infrared light is not reflected back by nearby surfaces such as glass, walls at close range or rain falling directly in front of the lens, as this can reduce image quality at night. Route the network cable carefully and keep connections protected from moisture.

Typical uses

  • Perimeter monitoring of gates, fences and boundaries
  • Entrances, car parks and loading areas
  • Farms, yards and outbuildings
  • Shops, offices and warehouses with outdoor areas
  • Residential driveways and garden areas

Who it suits

The camera suits anyone who needs reliable outdoor coverage without the complexity of a pan-tilt-zoom system. Because it is a fixed unit, it is straightforward to aim, and once set up it can run continuously. It works well as one part of a wider CCTV system, alongside other cameras that cover indoor spaces or additional outdoor angles.

Before you buy

Check that the camera matches the recorder, network switch or video management software you plan to use, and confirm the power requirements against your installation. Plan the mounting position so the lens has an unobstructed view of the area that matters most.
