UNIARCH 5MP Outdoor Wifi Camera with 30M IR Night Vision and WISE ISP
The UNIARCH 5MP Wifi 30M IR WISE ISP is an outdoor CCTV camera for monitoring exterior areas. It combines 5 megapixel image resolution, 30 metre infrared night vision and a wireless Wifi connection in one weatherproof outdoor unit intended for permanent installation.
Key features
- 5 megapixel (5MP) image resolution for detailed footage
- 30 metre infrared (30M IR) illumination for night-time monitoring
- Wireless Wifi connection, reducing the need for network cabling
- WISE ISP image processing platform
- Designed for outdoor installation
Image quality
A 5 megapixel sensor captures considerably more detail than standard lower-resolution cameras. This helps with recognising faces, number plates and other fine details when reviewing recorded footage. The infrared illuminator allows the camera to produce usable images in low light or complete darkness, within its 30 metre range.
Wireless connectivity
The Wifi connection allows the camera to be placed where a cable is hard to run, such as on a garden shed, a detached garage or a boundary wall. Once it is linked to your wireless network, the camera can be included in your monitoring setup alongside other compatible equipment. Check your existing network range and signal strength at the intended mounting point before installation.
Outdoor use
The camera is built for exterior locations where it will be exposed to changing weather and temperatures. Typical positions include:
- Front and rear doors of homes and offices
- Driveways, garages and car parks
- Gardens, yards and storage areas
- Building perimeters and loading areas
Typical uses
Homeowners use this type of camera to keep an eye on property while away, to check deliveries at the door, or to monitor pets and outdoor spaces. Businesses use it for shop fronts, warehouse yards and staff car parks. Because the camera is wireless, it suits temporary sites and buildings where fixed cabling would be impractical.
Installation notes
Mount the camera at a height and angle that covers the area you need to watch, and avoid pointing it directly at strong light sources, which can reduce image quality. Infrared night vision works best when the camera is not aimed at reflective surfaces close to the lens. Before purchase, confirm that your recorder, app or management software supports this camera.
Summary
The UNIARCH 5MP Wifi 30M IR WISE ISP is a practical choice for anyone who needs a wireless outdoor camera with good resolution and night-time coverage. Its combination of 5MP imaging, 30 metre infrared and Wifi connectivity makes it suitable for both residential and commercial CCTV upgrades.
