Ruijie RG-RAP6202(G) AC1300 Dual Band Outdoor Access Point

Ruijie RG-RAP6202(G) AC1300 Dual Band Outdoor Access Point

The Ruijie RG-RAP6202(G) is an AC1300 dual band outdoor access point designed to extend wireless network coverage to areas outside the building. It is built to bring wireless connectivity to outdoor spaces where a standard indoor access point would not be suitable.

Dual band operation lets the access point serve wireless clients across two frequency bands, helping to share network traffic and support a mix of devices. The AC1300 rating indicates the combined wireless throughput the access point is designed to deliver across its bands.

Because it is intended for outdoor use, this access point suits sites such as courtyards, car parks, campuses, gardens, and the external areas of business premises. It can be integrated into an existing network to add wireless coverage where cabling alone would be impractical.

The Ruijie RG-RAP6202(G) is a sensible choice for organisations that want to maximise their wireless network reach and make the most of the infrastructure they already have. Check the product documentation for mounting options, power requirements and compatibility with your network controller before installation.

Ruijie RG-RAP6202(G) AC1300 Dual Band Outdoor Access Point

The Ruijie RG-RAP6202(G) is an AC1300 dual band outdoor wireless access point from the Ruijie networking range. It is designed for deployments where wireless coverage is needed outside, extending a network beyond the reach of indoor equipment.

Outdoor access points are built to operate in environments that indoor equipment is not designed for. Placing a wireless access point outside allows staff, visitors and guests to stay connected in external areas, while keeping the wider network managed from one place.

Key features

  • AC1300 wireless rating for combined throughput across bands
  • Dual band operation to serve a mix of wireless clients
  • Designed for outdoor installation
  • Brand: Ruijie
  • Article number: RG-RAP6202(G)

Typical uses

Typical deployments include:

  • Outdoor areas of campuses, offices and business premises
  • Car parks and loading areas
  • Courtyards, gardens and public open spaces
  • Extending an existing wired network to external locations

Planning an installation

Before ordering, consider where the access point will be mounted and how it will be powered and cabled back to the network. Coverage depends on the building layout, the surrounding structures and the number of users expected. A site survey helps identify the best position and whether additional access points are needed.

Confirm the power method, mounting accessories and management setup against the official Ruijie documentation, as these details are not covered in the supplier summary for this listing.

Why choose this access point

The RG-RAP6202(G) offers a practical way to add dual band wireless coverage to outdoor spaces. Its AC1300 rating and dual band operation make it suitable for organisations that want reliable wireless access beyond the walls of their buildings, whether for staff productivity, visitor access or operational needs.
