AJAX TURRETCAM 5MP/8MP 4MM Black & White

AJAX TURRETCAM 5MP/8MP 4MM Black & White

The AJAX TURRETCAM is a turret-style CCTV camera for video surveillance. This black and white model is listed with a 4 mm lens and with 5MP and 8MP resolution options.

Turret cameras are a common choice for indoor and outdoor monitoring. Their dome-like housing is designed to be mounted on a wall or ceiling, where the camera can watch an entrance, a corridor, a car park or a storage area.

A 4 mm lens gives a relatively wide field of view, which suits covering a room or a short passage from a fixed position. Black and white imaging is useful where the main goal is to see movement and shapes clearly, and it can suit areas with low light or where colour detail is not needed.

This camera is part of the AJAX range of security products. It fits buyers who want a simple fixed camera for an existing or new surveillance setup, such as a small business, an office, a warehouse or a residential property.

Before ordering, check the exact resolution and lens you need, the power and network requirements of your recording or monitoring system, and the mounting location. The product information available here is brief, so confirm further technical details with the supplier if your project depends on them.

AJAX TURRETCAM 5MP/8MP 4MM Black & White

The AJAX TURRETCAM is a turret CCTV camera designed for fixed video surveillance. It belongs to the CCTV turret camera range and is offered in a black and white version with a 4 mm lens. The product is listed with 5MP and 8MP resolution options, so the exact model should be confirmed before ordering.

Turret cameras get their name from their compact, rotating-head style housing. They are mounted on a wall or ceiling and aimed at the area to be monitored. Because the camera stays in a fixed position, it is well suited to recording the same entrance, hallway, room or outdoor zone continuously.

Key features

  • Turret-style CCTV camera for fixed surveillance
  • Black and white image output
  • 4 mm lens for a relatively wide field of view
  • Listed resolutions: 5MP and 8MP
  • Part of the AJAX security product range

Image and lens

The 4 mm focal length is a common choice for medium-range coverage. It captures a wide scene from a fixed mounting point, which helps when you want to see a whole room or passage rather than a narrow strip. Black and white imaging concentrates on contrast and movement. This can be useful in areas where colour is not essential and where the main task is to identify people, vehicles or objects.

Resolution

Higher resolution gives more detail for the same scene. The listing mentions both 5MP and 8MP, which indicates that the product line covers more than one resolution level. A 5MP model generally offers a good balance between image detail and the amount of storage needed for recordings. An 8MP option can help when you need to read small details, such as faces at a distance or licence plates, though it produces larger video files.

Typical uses

  • Entrances and exits of shops, offices and warehouses
  • Corridors, stairwells and back rooms
  • Car parks and yards where a fixed view is needed
  • Residential properties and garden boundaries
  • Small business sites that need a simple camera setup

Installation

Choose a mounting position that gives a clear view of the target area and avoids direct strong light pointing into the lens. Fix the bracket firmly to a wall or ceiling, route the cable carefully and check the picture before final tightening. For outdoor use, make sure the installation location is protected from weather as far as your planned setup requires.

Before you buy

The product information available for this item is limited. Confirm the exact model, the resolution you need, the power supply and connection type, and the compatibility with your recorder or monitoring software. If your project has specific legal or privacy requirements for video recording, check these as well before installing the camera.

In short, the AJAX TURRETCAM 4MM black and white turret camera is a practical choice for fixed CCTV coverage of rooms, entrances and open areas. Confirm the resolution and technical details that match your project, and you will have a straightforward camera for everyday surveillance.
